This video surveillance policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) applies to Certex Latvija employees, customers, service providers and other natural persons who have entered the video surveillance cameras' reception area. Video surveillance is carried out in the office, warehouse, production plant and service premises, as well as in the outdoor area under CERTEX's jurisdiction and in the parking lot located
11 Mežkalna street, Riga. Video surveillance is not carried out in rooms with increased privacy (toilets, shower rooms, changing rooms). Video surveillance is not used to control the amount or quality of performed work by employees. Such video surveillance of employees is allowed only in special exceptional cases, if there are reasonable doubts about criminal activity on the part of the employee, for example, in cases of theft.

Purpose of legal basis of video surveillance
The purpose of personal data processing is the prevention or detection of criminal offenses and violations related to the protection of property and assets, as well as the protection of the life and health of individuals.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1) of Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals about the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General data Protection Regulation):
(f) processing is necessary to respect the legitimate interests of the controller or of a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, which require personal data protection, outweigh those interests.
The controller's legitimate interest is the protection of property, the prevention of theft or the provision of evidence in the event of theft, the protection of the life and health of employees, customers, service providers.
Recipients of personal data
We will not transfer personal data obtained as a result of video surveillance without legal basis to third parties, however, for investigation of criminal offenses, CERTEX may transfer video recordings to law enforcement authorities following the procedures laid down in laws and regulations and to State or local government authorities in cases provided for in laws and regulations. CERTEX will not transfer your personal data outside the European Union.
Organization and duration of the processing of personal data
Only authorized CERTEX personnel shall be entitled to access CCTV recordings based on the need to receive this information by the purpose of processing personal data. A review of video recordings is possible if:
· There has been an occupational safety or other incident or accident,
· Suspicion of illegal activity,
· A request has been received from the data subject for the provision of a video surveillance record,
· A request has been received from the police or other law enforcement agencies,
· In other exceptional cases, subject to authorization.
Lai informētu Jūs par videonovērošanu, CERTEX izmanto informatīvas zīmes, kuras tiek izvietotas viegli redzamās vietās. Informatīvas zīmes satur informāciju par CERTEX un tā kontaktinformāciju, datu apstrādes mērķi, kā arī iekļauj norādi par iespēju iegūt citu Vispārīgās datu aizsardzības regulas 13. pantā norādīto informāciju. Videonovērošana CERTEX telpās tiek veikta reālā laika režīmā, un ieraksti tiek glabāti ne ilgāk kā 30 dienas no to ierakstīšanas brīža. Ja attiecīgais ieraksts ir vajadzīgs, lai aizstāvētu savas vai citu personu likumīgās intereses, piemēram, tiesvedības gaitā, tas var tikt uzglabāts ilgāk - līdz šī mērķa sasniegšanai.

Security of personal data

Your rights
In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to request access to your personal data (video recordings) and their correction or deletion, or restriction of processing in relation to the data subject, or the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability (however, it should be noted that it is not possible to correct or supplement video surveillance recordings, because otherwise it can be considered as falsification of information).
We reserve the right not to provide you with a copy of your personal data, incl. personal data obtained during video surveillance in cases where such disclosure would affect other data subjects and there would be no technical possibility to issue a copy of personal data without infringing the rights of other data subjects, as well as in cases where such disclosure would require an excessive investment of time, employees or financial resources due to its volume or complexity . Upon receipt of your request, we will respond to it within the time limits set by the regulatory acts (usually no later than one month, unless there is a special request that requires a longer time to prepare the response).
